St Nicholas’s CE and St Mary’s RC Churches. On East­ er Day St Mary’s was packed, with standing room only in the porch for the 11 a.m. Mass taken ■ by Mgr Corcoran.


The children had their own liturgy in the church hall and af­ terwards there was coffee and biscuits for the adults and Easter eggs for the children in the hall.' At St Nicholas’s Church the Easter Sunday family serv­ ice was led:by the Rev. Dyer and fol­ lowed by an Easter egg hunt for the children.


This weekend Canon Norman Atty will be the celebrant at the 9-30 a.m'. Holy Communion at St Nicholas’s Church, Mgr Corcoran will take 9-15 a.m. Mass today Friday and 11 a.m. Sunday in St Mary’s RC and the Baptist Church will welcome Doreen Landriau to take the 10 a.m. Sunday service.
