cashire Constabulary helicopter and members of the Rossendale Fell Rescue Team turned out to search for Mrs Audrey Lloyd (80) after she left Riverside Court, Sawley, at lunchtime on Thurs

Songs of praise On Sunday, there will be a
joint parish family Commu nion service in St Peter's Church, Simonstonc,' at 10 a.m. This will be followed by a procession of witness from St Peter's to St John's Church, Read.
Bear will open the fair, and there will be lots of games for the children in addition to stalls, a raffle and tombola. There will also be a grocery and pound stall, cakes and plants. The parish is also holding a balloon race and tickets are on sale now around the village.

children of St Mary's RC Church will take place on Sunday at 3 p.m; when every one is welcome.
Music A special compilation of favourite hymns and songs is now on sale at St Mary's RC
Church. Parishioners chose their
favourite music earlier this year, and it has been recorded and is available on cassette (£4.50) or CD (£9). A new batch has had to be produced after the first was a sell-out, but no more copies can be made. They will be on sale at the summer fair or from church while stocks last.
