3) Manufacturing Planner and Yarn Procurer
The position involves capacity planning for the Weaving Dept, producing weaving loom schedules from customer schedules and warping plans. Daily contact with Weaving, Warping and Goods Inwards aepts. Placing and expediting yarn orders with suppliers and controlling yarn stock levels.
Characteristics required for the above positions arc the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and a high degree of numeracy and literacy to prepare accurate reports and data. Initiative, drive, resilience and self motivation enable working unsupervised. Inter personal and communication skills are essential for team working and participation in improvement projects.
