Full-time and Part-time staff to work at The Nook Children's Home which provides long term care and education for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties who present extremely challenging behaviour.


Staff work a rolling rota of 3 days on and 3 days off (residential whilst on duty) with sleeping in allowance. There are twelve children in four units,


staftf ratio 1:3.


Part-time appointment to cover sick leave, holidays, training, supervision etc :. With very few sleep-ins, work load min. 100 hrs a month.


Good written/oral communication skills and an ability to remain calm and motivate difficult children is essential. Social Services, Police, Health and Education clearance must be met.


Someone with a Teaching qualification is preferred but not essential to assist with Education also Outdoor and Sporting qualifications would help to enhance the programme. A clean driving licence is essential.
