(Public Footpath No.55 Aighton Bailey and Chaigley Ribble Valley Borough) (Public Path Diversion) Order 1993


On the 1st February 1994, the Lancashire County Council confirmed the above Order.


The efloct ot the Order, as confirmed, is to divert that part ot Public Footpath No.55. in the Parish of Aighton Bailey and Chaigley, Ribble Valley Borough Irom a point at its junction with Clitheroe Road, in a general east-south-easterly direction for a distance of approximately 60 metres, (GR 6791 4057 lo 6798


4057). Tho alternative route lo be provided is:-


From a point on Clitheroe Road, approximately 28 metres north-easi o( the present commencement of Public Footpath No 55. Aighton Bailey and Chaigley, Ribble Valley Borough, in a general south-easterly direction for a distance of


approximately 45 metres, lo rejoin public Footpath No 55, (GR 6795 4061 to 6798 4057). A copy of the Order, as confirmed, and plan have been deposited at the offices of the Ribble Valley Borough Council, Council Offices, Church Walk. Clitheroe and at my offices, where they may be inspected, free


of charge, during office hours.


This order becomes operative on the 15th February, 1994, but if any person aggrieved by the Order desires to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the qrounds that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act, 1980, as amended, or on the grounds that a requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made thereunder has not be complied with in relation to the Order, they may, under Paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 lo ihe Act as applied by paragraph 5 ol Schedule 7 to the Act within six weeks from the 3rd February 1994, make application to the High Court tor the
