THE Lancashire County Council election campaign en ters its final week today, with a total of 17 candidates contesting the four local divisions. All three main parties,

plus the Natural Law Party, are fielding candi dates in all four seats and an Independent Raving Looney Green Giant candi date is also in the running. Labour is defending the Clitheroe division and the Conservatives are hoping to hold the Ribble Valley North East, Longridge and Ribble Valley South West seats. Meanwhile, the Liberal Democrats are again making an all-out bid to change the voting pat tern, while the NLP has produced four candidates from the Skelmersdale area. Across the county, 99
