Nicholson, thanked everyone for their work and help over
the past year, particularly Mrs Eunice Owen for organis
ing the charity shop in Sep tember, which. raised more|
than £1,700 for the roof fund. Many other events were
held, including a hoe-down, car treasure hunt and Christ
mas bingo. I t is hoped to redecorate
the church interior this year and the plan is to make the harvest thanksgiving service on October 3rd a special cele bration for the completion of the work. The Bishop of. Blackburn will be preachingl a t the morning service.
