There were three routes, involving 10km, 20km and 4 0 km and d em a n d in g varying degrees of exer- sion, with walkers making their way through Pendle- side villages and, for one route, over the summit of Pendle. Sgt East said: “We are
extremely happy with the walk. It was a very suc c e s s fu l o c c a s io n a n d enjoyed by both local peo ple and others who had come co n s id e rab le d is tances to take part.” The Castle Cup for the

(17), of Cross Street, was put on probation for two years with the condition that he completed 60 days at an attendance centre. He was also banned from driving for 18 months. Bridges admitted 10
