This newly created post will be responsible for recovery of income through a process of pre and post redefinition and job reconciliation disciplines.
Applicants should have a technical knowledge of construc tion trade related activities. In addition a knowledge or interest in the use of computers would be an advantage. although training will be given.
The position is offered initially for a six month period, at which time a review will take place with regard to its long term future.
POST 7 —
WORKS CO-ORDINATOR Scale 5 £9,474 to £10,407
The successful applicant will be responsible for co-ordinat ing and maintaining a computerised system for day-to-day repair work. In addition he/she wilt supervise a smalt group of operatives responsible for providing a response for emer gency repairs and have overall responsibility for the Depart ment's radio communications system.
A sound knowledge of construction related disciplines together with computer experience would be an advantage although training will be given to improve computer skills.
