A WHALLEY woman who was sewing mistress at Calderstones for more than 30 years, Mrs Ann Douglas, of Biddings Lane, has died, aged 70. Born in the Bolton area,


she moved to Mitton Road, Whalley, and mar­ ried Jimmy Douglas, popular comedian and tai­ lor at the hospital. Mrs Douglas also taught
