Their big moment came in the middle of the
revue, “Foot and Mouth With Ease”, produced by Gladys at the school in Chatburn Bond.
She said: “ It was hilarious — definitely a case of being prepared. It all came off very well and was
something we will not easily forget.” Television comedian Dennis Wayne compered
the show in which more than 100 children and adults appeared, raising £1,000. The school donated facilities free of charge and its orchestra took part,
directed by Joy Ficlden. For members of Kibble Valley Rotaract it was a
case of seeing them as you have never seen them
before.Twenty members dressed in pyjamas and nighties toured BO Kibble Valley pubs and clubs to raise £600, led by Clitheroc solicitor Keith Bagot and club secretary Suzanne Kent. Cheeky customers gave some saucy comments with their money, while the ladies had to cope with
a strong breeze. The children were not forgotten either, with a
special screening of the “Chitty Chitty Bang
attracted 200 youngsters and raised £100. Prizes were presented to the winners of a colouring com petition held in conjunction with the local schools. Teenagers of Trinity Church youth group put
