THE main topic at the meeting of Clitheroe and Rowland branch of the NFC was the Govern­ ment’s recent amendment to the Agriculture Bill de­ aling with tenants’ right to milk quota value.

if the amendment was passed, the most a tenant could hope to receive was 80 per cent of the quota.
