A fascinating link
CUTHKROK Castle is very much in the news this year, but recently 1 came across an inte res t ing small d e ta i l which, a f te r reading almost every word wr i t ten about the ancient structure, both currently and in the past, was abso lutely new to me.

T h e ch a p e l had now
been extended to eight times its o rigin al size and
the present church was built in 1S17. The follow ing y e ar it was reconse crated by the Bishop of C h e s te r and dedicated to St Michael.
