ASSISTANT ENGINEER


Applicants, male or female, should be aged 30-45. apprentice trained and preferably qualified to at least HNC standard, al­ though practical experience may balance a lack ol formal education


A sound knowledge is required of boiler plant, steam services, water pumping and distribution, ideally, again in a textile wet processing plant and supplemented by experience of processing machines, but a similar process industry background may be suitable. Experience ot planned maintenance systems will be an advantage


The successful applicant will be required to take part in the organisation and administration of a busy maintenance engin­ eering department, and to prove capable of faking over the |0 b of the Silo Engineer, on his retirement in 2 3 years
