WHEN pupils of Bowland County Secondary School staged a party for the Clitheroe Meteor Club it was a great success.


The 40 children were members of the school’s


helpers’ group which raised £200 for the Meteor Club last year through various activities.


Teacher Mrs Carol Pye,


who runs the group with Mrs Alexandra Walmsley,


said: “There was a super atmosphere and everyone was very friendly. Some of the children have asked if we can hold another party soon for the club."
