ceived much valuable en couragement from her husband, Kenneth, the general manager of a firm manufacturing electrical machinery, and their chil dren, Leigh (19), Lisa (17) and Tristan (11).
All the hard work has
paid off, for the shop has been so successful since it opened in April that Mrs Barnes is intending to de-
• velop several new lines. While continuing to em
phasise lights, suites and Donna fabrics, she hopes to introduce table linen from the Far East and to expand her fabric service, which customers can take advantage of by having curtains or covers expert ly made up from an excel lent selection of materials.
