The ‘S’-range of Maximum Demand Seasonal Tariffs will be withdrawn and consumers supplied on these tariffs will be transferred to the corresponding 'MD' Maximum Demand Tariffs. 'MD tariffs provide the same overall revenue as 'S' tariffs, but the fuel cost adjustment is expected to increase electricity costs by an average of 2%. Due to the transfer of consumers from 'S ’ to 'MD' tariffs some consumers will experience increases slightly above or below 2%.

Tariffs and terms for the purchase of electricity by the Board and use of the system have been revised but there will be no significant change other than those resulting from the fuel cost adjustment.
