LARGE-SCALE sewer improvement works are to be undertaken in Cl itheroe to relieve pressure on old, over-bur­


dened p a rts o f the system.


This was revealed by


the Ribble Valley Coun­ cil’s Planning and Techni­ cal Officer Mr Philip Bailey a progress report on sewer system investi­ gations to the Public Works and Health Com­ mittee. He told members that

take place shortly with the NWWA to carry out a
