NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Lancashire County Council propose to make an Order under Section 1 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1967, as amended, the effect of which will be:— 1. To revoke 'The Lancashire County Council' (Various Street, Clitheroe), (Traffic Regulation) Order 1968 only insofar as it relates to the lengths of road specified in the First Schedule to this Notice.


3. To restrict the waiting of motor vehicles for 1 hour (return prohibited within 1 hour) between the hours of 9-00 a.m.

The Order will contain exemptions to allow vehicles to wait for as long as may be necessary to enable persons to board to alight, or to enable it to be used in connection with any building operation or demolition and the maintenance of essential services. A copy of the draft Order, plan and Statement of Reasons for proposing to make this Order may be inspected at the offices of the Ribble Valley Borough Council, Church Walk, Clitheroe, and at Christ Church Precinct, County Hall, Preston, during normal office hours until the 6th June, 1983. Notice is hereby given that the Lancashire County Council have made an Order under Section 1 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1967, as amended, the effect of which is to amend the Lancashire County Council (Bolton-by-Bowland Zone) (Prohibition of Heavy Commercial Vehicles) Order 1980 to enable any heavy commercial vehicle, the operating weight of which exceeds 7.5 tonnes and on which is displayed a Certificate issued by the County Council, to pass through the Bolton-by-Bowland Zone on a route specified by the County Council.
