A COLLISION with another car on a steep hill ended a 25-year clean driving record for John Charles Singleton (68), of Holden Lane, Bolton-by

fined him £30 for driving a car without due, care and attention and ordered him to pay £5 costs.. He told the court that
■ conditions were bad, the hill was very muddy and the car slithered as he rounded, a bend at Wig- glesworth.
