£1,000 theft from works


ALUMINIUM sheeting worth £1,000 was stolen from the Ribblesdale Cement Works. The sheeting, in eight-foot lengths, was stacked out­ side a fabrication shop and belonged to one of the contractors carrying out work on the new plant.
