HARD at work on the Christmas concert “Holy Boy” being presented by the Lancashire Education A u th o r i ty ’s Regional Music School are these local youngsters. “Holy Boy” is a work
show at St Paul’s Church, Low Moor, on December 7th and 8th, at 7-30 p.m. A choir of about 80
for Christmas with a dif ference. The narrative and libretto present an Old Testament opening describing David’s early life as a shepherd boy and the role of King Saul, before moving to the Nativity and the role of King Herod. The music school, which
is based at Edisford County Primary School and meets on Thursday evenings, will produce the
voices comprising primary and secondary school pupils, teachers, parents and senior citizen volun teers has been formed as a joint community effort. Choir trainer is Mrs
