(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING) ORDER 198


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Lancashire County


Council propose to make the above Order under Section 1 (1), (2) and (3) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1967, as amended, the effect of which will be:—


1. To prohibit the waiting of motor vehicles, at any time, on the length of road specified in the First Schedule to this Notice.


2. To restrict the waiting of motor vehicles between the hours of 9-00 a.m. and 7-00 p.m. from Monday to Saturday


inclusive on the length of road specified in the Second Schedule to this Notice.


The Order will contain exemptions to allow vehicles to wait for as long as may be necessary to enable persons to board or alight, or to enable it to be used in connection with any .building operation or demolition and the maintenance ot essential


services.


A copy of the draft Order, plan and Statement of Reasons tor proposing to make the Order may be inspected at the offices of


the Ribble Valley Borough Council, Church Walk, Clitheroe, and at Christ Church Precinct, County Halji Preston, during normal office hours until the 23rd December, 1982.


If you wish to object to this proposal, you should send the grounds for your objection in writing to the undersigned (quoting reference 71/EED) by the 23rd December, 1982.
