Five groups seek jubilee appeal money


FIVE applications for grants have been made to the Ribble Valley Silver Jubilee Appeal Committee, wnich failed to reach i t s £20,000 target to buy minibuses for youth work and provide a summer play scheme. The committee was


forced to scrap its original appeal target because of a poor response and instead invited groups to submit ideas for grants.
