The Lancashire County Council propose to make and Order, subject to the consent of the Minister of Transport, under Section 1 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1967, as amended and by Section 1 of the Heavy Commercial Vehicles (Controls and Regulations) Act, 1973, tne effect of which will be that no person shall cause any heavy commercial vehicle, the unladen weight of which exceeds 3 tons, constructed or adapted for the carriage of goods, to proceed, except for certain exemptions which are set out in the Order, on any road or length of road specified in the


Schedules to this Notice.


A copy of the draft Order and Plan showing the lengths of road affected and suggested alternative routes and a copy of the County Council’s statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at either of the following locations, during normal office hours until 25th February, 1980:
