lived with her widowed mother, Mrs Annie Smith, in Greenfield Avenue, Chat burn. She was employed by Trutex for 20 years and held the post of production manager when she left about
■four years ago to join the Department of Employment at Burnley, where she was finance officer. Miss Smith was a member
of the ladies’ section of Clitheroe Golf Club. The funeral will take place today, service and cremation being at Skipton.
