THE TRUNK ROAD (Wballcy- Clitheroc By-Pass) (Prohibition of Pedal Cycles) ORDER 1971.


The Secretary of State for the Environment proposes to make an Order under section 1 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1967, as amended by Part IX of the Transport Act 1968, the effect of which will 'be to pro­ hibit the use of pedal cycles , of the Whalley-Clitheroe By-Pass (Trunk ■ Road A59) between its junction with the A666 road at Langho and its junction with Sawley Road (A59) in the Rural District of Clitheroe in the County of Lancashire.


A copy of the Order, together with a plan illustrating the pro­ posal, may be inspected during all reasonable hours at the offices of the Lancashire County Coun­ cil at County Hall.. Preston and of the Clitheroc Rural District Council, 2 Church Brow, Clith­ croe, Lancs.
