Viridien Secures Sale Of Sercel Marlin Offshore Logistics Solution To ONGC
Viridien has announced a sale of its state-of-the art Sercel Marlin™ Offshore Logistics management solution to Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) to enhance operational efficiency and safety across its Western offshore E&P operations in India. The sale includes a five-year contract to provide ONGC with dedicated on-premises Sercel soſtware and support services.
The Sercel Marlin Offshore Logistics solution will digitize and streamline ONGC’s complex offshore E&P logistics, increasing situational awareness through real-time vessel tracking and boosting efficiency in operational planning while also managing helicopter transit.
Seamless integration with ONGC’s market-leading ERP systems will also ensure efficient data exchange and decision-making. Additionally, Marlin’s advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) algorithms will future- proof ONGC’s operations by further enhancing operational efficiency and planning. All of this will support ONGC’s vision to deliver business excellence and achieve their carbon neutrality objectives.

Certek Acquires Wind Turbine Services Market Leader GEV Wind Power
Certek has made a significant investment in GEV Wind Power (“GEV”), the global specialist services provider to the wind energy industry, as it targets further growth opportunities and international expansion.
EnerMech has secured a significant contract from LLOG Exploration Co. for pre-commissioning services at the Salamanca Platform in the Gulf of Mexico.
This contract includes hydrotesting and nitrogen dewatering of three 8” infield flowlines, one 16” oil export pipeline and one 10” gas export pipeline. The award follows a previous contract in for topside pre-commissioning services which EnerMech secured in 2024.
The Salamanca Floating Production Unit (FPU) will operate at a depth of approximately 6,400 feet of water with production from the Leon and Castille fields. With an initial production capacity of 60,000 barrels of oil per day and 40 million cubic feet of natural gas per day, this project is poised to make a substantial contribution to the United States’ energy sector.
Notably, the FPU is a refurbished structure, previously the decommissioned Independence Hub production facility.
