Enerpac Announces Powerful HMT 13000 Torque Wrench


The new Enerpac HMT 13000 Interchangeable Torque Wrench is an extension to the previously introduced HMT product line. Like the other models in the HMT series, the HMT 13000 offers the same advantages and low cost of ownership. The series is also cost effective because the cassettes have up to 25% less internal components than other manufacturers, reducing the risk of failure and cost of repair.


The HMT 13000 distinguishes itself through its speed, durability, and efficiency. It is designed to be interchangeable with different tools in the market. When it comes to speed, it offers best-in-class output to weight ratio and is up to 25% faster than leading competitors. As for durability, superior alloys make this tool lightweight and give it a 2.5x longer life expectancy than comparable tools.


When it comes to operator efficiency, the modular parts allow for interchangeability but at the same time guarantee a higher productivity. Its 30-degree angle of rotation saves time and money and is 25% more efficient. Other features


that improve operator efficiency are a 360-degree swivel hose attachment, lightweight design that results in less fatigue, and a standard ergonomic safety handle.


The HMT 13000 is designed for low-profile applications only and suits hex sizes from 62mm to 115mm AF. The HMT 13000 delivers output torques from 1829 to 18,289 Nm.

Baker Hughes to Deliver Subsea Compression Manifold for Chevron


Subsea Compression Project Baker Hughes, a global energy technology company, has been awarded a contract from Chevron Australia Pty Ltd to deliver subsea compression manifold technology for the Jansz-Io Compression (J-IC) Project.


Driven by Baker Hughes’ Subsea Connect early engagement approach, Baker Hughes will provide Chevron with a subsea compression manifold structure (SCMS) including module and foundation, as well as the latest optimized version of its horizontal clamp connector system and subsea controls for the manifold structure.

The Jansz-Io gas field is located around 200 kilometers offshore the north- western coast of Western Australia, at water depths of approximately 1,400


meters. The Jansz-Io field is a part of the Chevron-operated Gorgon natural gas facility, one of the world’s largest natural gas developments. Baker Hughes has previously provided 23 subsea trees, 12 subsea manifolds, 45 subsea structures and a subsea production control system for the Gorgon natural gas facility.


The Chevron-operated Gorgon natural gas facility is a joint venture between the Australian subsidiaries of Chevron (47.3%), ExxonMobil (25%), Shell (25%), Osaka Gas (1.25%), Tokyo Gas (1%) and JERA (0.417%).
