NEW RAPID ACCESS ENDOMETRIOSIS CLINIC SET TO SPEED UP DIAGNOSIS
CLEAR TREATMENT PATHWAYS
Spire Little Aston Hospital has announced the launch of its Rapid-Access specialist endometriosis clinic, a dedicated service designed to provide faster diagnosis, expert assessment, and clear treatment pathways for patients experiencing symptoms of endometriosis.
Endometriosis is a complex and often debilitating condition that can cause chronic pelvic pain, heavy or painful periods, discomfort during everyday activities, and fertility challenges. For many patients, delays in diagnosis and treatment can have a significant impact on their quality of life. The new rapid access clinic aims to address this by offering a streamlined, structured pathway to specialist care.
The service combines a comprehensive assessment package, beginning with a nurse-led pre-assessment to review symptoms and pain levels, followed by a specialist consultation with an experienced gynaecologist. Patients will also receive an ultrasound scan by a specialist endometriosis radiologist to support diagnosis, alongside a clear explanation of findings and agreed next steps in their care journey.

Spire Little Aston Hospital is a British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE) accredited endometriosis centre, recognised for delivering high-quality, specialist care for patients with complex or severe conditions. The clinic brings together a multi-disciplinary team, including experts in gynaecology, colorectal surgery, and urology, ensuring patients benefit from a holistic and collaborative approach to treatment.
The Rapid-Access clinic supports individuals with ongoing symptoms, those awaiting diagnosis or treatment, and patients seeking guidance on fertility concerns. By focusing on early assessment and clear communication, the service empowers patients with the information and support they need to make confident, informed decisions about their health.
