CHRISTMAS IN LEAMINGTON: GET SET FOR A SEASON OF SPARKLE!
Leamington is getting seriously sparkly this Christmas, making it the perfect excuse to gather your besties or family and enjoy a festive day out.

From quirky independent boutiques and high-street favourites to help tick off your Christmas list, to cosy cafés serving hot chocolate piled high with cream and fairy lights twinkling along the town’s Regency streets, there’s plenty to discover. Whether you’re searching for the perfect present, planning a festive brunch or simply fancy a Christmassy wander, Royal Leamington Spa has you covered.
Things get off to a magical start with the Christmas Light Switch-On on Sunday 15 November. Expect dazzling lights, a Gingerbread House (yes, really!) and a sparkling Christmas tree outside the Town Hall. The festive fun continues with Sunday Christmas Markets running through to 20 December.
From 28 November to 6 December, All Saints Church will host the charming Christmas Tree Festival. With around 60 beautifully decorated trees created by local groups, schools and businesses, it’s a wonderfully festive way to spend a winter evening.
Then, on Sunday 6 December, the Lantern Parade takes to the streets. Imagine thousands of glowing, handmade lanterns lighting up Leamington in a rainbow of colour. Want to take part? Free lantern-making workshops will be taking place throughout November, giving you the chance to make your own lantern before joining the parade.
And, of course, no Christmas is complete without a visit from Santa. Santa will be making appearances on various dates throughout November and December, including 12–13 December at Royal Priors, supported by the Rotary Club of

Royal Leamington Spa. It’s the perfect festive pit stop between shopping and coffee breaks. Little ones can also visit Santa’s Postbox in Regent Court, where they can post their handwritten letters straight to the North Pole.
Looking to make a night of it? Leamington’s fantastic choice of restaurants and bistros will be serving up Christmas party menus and festive dining, whether you’re planning a girls’ night out, a family celebration or a cosy meal with friends. So, raise a glass, tuck into something delicious and celebrate the season in style.
With its beautiful Georgian architecture, award-winning gardens and leafy avenues, Leamington is a delight at any time of year - but it’s particularly magical at Christmas. And there’s even more reason to visit, with free parking available in selected car parks on Sunday 15 November and Saturday 5 December.
