“What can I say…. The birthday collection is more of the same. More stones, more fun with a bit of retro Allen Brown thrown in.”

What can visitors expect from the anniversary weekend in July? and why was it important for you to mark this milestone with a celebration open to customers?
“The weekend celebrations are really a huge thank you from me to all of my amazing customers, colleagues, family and friends who have been with me throughout. Because I really feel that my business is really a sum of its many parts. I hope that as many people as possible will join me to see the new collection on Saturday 11th July and Sunday 12th July here at our gallery. Come and join us for fizz, nibbles and enjoy musical entertainment ”
LOOKING AHEAD How do you see the future of jewellery design evolving?
“Over the years the trends seem to have been for people to have fewer but more significant pieces and a big part of our business is remodelling jewellery into new and contemporary pieces that can be worn and enjoyed carrying the sentiment forward for the next generation. ”
What are your hopes for the next chapter of your business?
“The next chapter? Well I’ve no intention of giving up anytime soon but it is a natural progression to let the next generation at Allen Brown flourish and grow to carry the legacy forward .”
After 40 years, what still excites you about your work each day?
“Jewellery! And customers. I love the medium and to create beautiful unique pieces everyday who could wish for more. ”

With a special anniversary collection and celebratory weekend taking place on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July at the gallery between 10am and 5pm , this milestone is not just a reflection of the past, but a sparkling glimpse into the future.
