CLASS NOTES July 1, 2022 – Jan. 31, 2022 ’70s
DON COLE, D.C. (Main, ’79), was named the 2021 Conference Honoree, the highest honor from the Tennessee Chiropractic Association. Dr. Don was recognized for his more than four decades in practice. Dr. Don practices at Cole Chiropractic Center, which was founded by his father, Dr. James Cole.
’80s
EFSTATHIOS PAPADOPOULOS, D.C. (Main, ’81), received the highest honor bestowed by the World Federation of Chiropractic — the David Chapman Smith Award. Dr. Papadopolous was recognized for his more than 40 years of dedication to the profession on a global scale. He is one of 33 chiropractors to ever receive the award.
PAUL MORIN, D.C. (Main, ’84), was named Chiropractor of the Year in January 2022 by the Maine Chiropractic Association. Dr. Morin practices at Morin Chiropractic in Auburn, Maine.
’90s
RICHARD ROBINSON, D.C. (West, ’96), traveled to the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China, to provide care for athletes on Team Canada. This marks Dr. Robinson’s fifth Olympic appointment.
PAMELA DANIELS, D.C. (West, ’97), was appointed by California Governor Gavin Newsom to the California Board of Chiropractic Examiners in November 2021. Dr. Daniels has been a chiropractor at Daniels Chiropractic since 2003.
GEORGE PAPALEONARDOS, D.C. (Main, ’97), joined NJ Health & Injury Solution in Totowa, New Jersey, in January 2022.

JAY SONDER, D.C. (Main, ’01), recently attained Board Certification in Forensic Sciences through the American Board of
Forensic Professionals. Dr. Sonder currently serves as Director of Occupational Medicine at Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.
JACKIE HUNTER, D.C. (Main, ’04), was named senior vice president and chief diversity and inclusion officer for the University of Vermont Health Network in October 2021. Dr. Hunter was also named a Top Diversity Leader in Healthcare by Modern Healthcare.
KARLA (SOLUM) WOLFORD, D.C. (West, ’09), was named the ACA Sport Council’s Sports Chiropractor of the Year for 2021. Dr. Wolford’s selection was announced at the ACA Sports Council’s virtual conference.

PAUL INFIELD, D.C. (Main, ’12) served as a team physician for the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China. Dr. Infield is one of only nine chiropractors in the United States invited to the winter games. He currently practices at Infield Chiropractic in Euclid, Ohio.
JASON KIM, D.C. (West, ’13), was named to succeed Curt Rindal, D.C. (West, ’12), as the team chiropractor for University of Washington Athletics, where he’ll provide care for both men’s and women’s teams. Dr. Kim maintains his practice, Active Sports & Spine, in Bellevue, Washington.
DANIELLE HURD, D.C. (Florida, ’14), opened a second location of Gentle Chiropractic Care in February 2021 in Stuart, Florida. Dr. Hurd opened her first location in November 2019.
BROOKE CRANDALL, D.C. (Main, ’17), opened Endeavor Chiropractic in late 2021 in Livonia, Michigan. Prior to opening her own practice, Dr. Crandall served as a clinic coordinator for three years.
IAN BARRY, D.C. (Florida, ’18), was recently named New Jersey’s Favorite Kids’ Doc of 2021 by New Jersey Family Magazine. Recipients are nominated by local parents. Dr. Barry is currently an associate chiropractor at Advanced Performance & Rehabilitation
Center in Short Hills, New Jersey. The practice is associated with the New York Jets, New York Red Bulls and New Jersey Devils.

BRENT YOUNG, D.C. (West, ’20), became the first Black male D.C. to earn a full-time position at any of the 170 VA medical centers in the United States (pictured below).
CHLOE CASTEEL, D.C. (Florida, ’21), has joined her brother, Palmer Casteel, D.C. (Main, ’16), and father, Scott Casteel, D.C. (Main, ’86), at Casteel Chiropractic Center (CCC) in DuBois, Pennsylvania. CCC celebrated its 35-year anniversary on October 6, 2021.
