COBOGO GALLERY Fifth Floor, Design Centre East The opening of this showroom also represents an exciting new chapter for the Design Centre, as it’s the inaugural arrival on the redeveloped Fifth Floor of Design Centre East. Cobogó Gallery brings the spirit of Brazilian design to London, showing modernist re-editions by Jean Gillon, Jaime Lerner and Bernardo Figueiredo, hand-made in Europe in collaboration with the families of these past masters. Pieces such as Gillon’s ‘Jangada’ armchair, inspired by the fishing rafts of Bahia, and Lerner’s wave- like ‘Urca’ chaise in wood-veneered fibreglass, are shown alongside new work from contemporary Brazilian designers, while rotating exhibitions, starting with the work of painter Ivan Moraes (1936-2004), deepen the cultural dialogue.


KARNDEAN DESIGNFLOORING Third Floor, Design Centre East Premium luxury vinyl flooring comes to Design Centre East with the arrival of Karndean Designflooring. The showroom’s interiors, by architecture and design practice Nick Leith- Smith, have been imagined as a refined home: warm, welcoming and intended to spark conversation and creativity. Explore Karndean’s full portfolio, including exclusive styles outside of its retail offering, with a product library organised by colour. Large-format boards show the full impact of each product, while a central table allows for collaboration and building custom schemes.
