BEN WEBB has carved out a name for himself in the competitive world of hospitality design. Co-founder and managing director of hospitality and branding agency 3Stories, Webb has cultivated a reputation for combining creativity and practicality, during a career spanning more than 15 years, to produce world-class design spaces. From collaborating with global hospitality giants to working with independent restaurants and bars, 3Stories’ work is reflective of Webb’s passion for storytelling through design and cementing his company as a top hospitality design agency. Webb’s expertise was further recognised when he was invited to join the judging panel for the recent edition of the FX Awards, back in November 2024, underscoring his influence within the industry. FX caught up with him to find out more and what the future holds in 2025 and beyond.


With its extensive portfolio and esteemed


clients, it’s hard to believe that 3Stories is a relative newcomer to the design industry, even bypassing the FX editorial team for recognition as an FX One to Watch. Even so, it was in 2017 that Webb launched 3Stories alongside Jordan Littler, combining their extensive industry experience and shared vision for a unique design agency. Before founding the company, Webb honed his craft at firms including Andy Martin Architects and Super Futures, among others, while Littler was running his own practice, Littler Design. ‘We had reached a stage in our careers


where we wanted to take control of our projects and do things our way,’ Webb recalls on his and Littler’s decision to set up their own agency. ‘We had built strong relationships with a few clients who believed in us, and that gave us the confidence to make the leap.’ 3Stories began with its focus on


hospitality interiors, and this specialisation remains at the core of the business. The agency has since grown to work with high- profile clients like Accor and IHG, as well as a host of independent restaurants and boutique bars. From sleek, contemporary hotel interiors to intimate dining spaces, the hallmark of 3Stories’ work is its attention to detail and emphasis on creating memorable experiences. is simple yet profound: design should tell a story. Whether it’s the branding on a menu or the ambience of a dining room, every element plays a role in shaping the user experience. ‘We see design as more than just


aesthetics,’ he explains. ‘It’s about storytelling. Every detail matters, and we work hard to ensure that branding and interiors aren’t seen as separate entities. Instead, they come together as part of the narrative.’ This commitment to creating holistic,


experiential designs has earned 3Stories a loyal following among its clients. The agency prides itself on its ability to adapt to diverse projects, from large-scale hospitality ventures to bespoke, independent designs.
