TORMAX

Warwick Castle Hotel welcomes guests into an impressive reception through two sets of TORMAX bi-parting automatic sliding doors. Working in tandem, they create an entrance lobby that minimises heat loss from the building, contributing towards its BREEAM ‘Very Good’ target rating. The entrance is powered by TORMAX iMotion 2202.A drives, which feature AC motor technology that has none of the parts that wear out easily, such as gears and brushes. Combined with a high-tech microprocessor control system, iMotion delivers market-leading longevity for door automation. TORMAX worked with main contractor RED Construction Group to deliver an extremely reliable, low-energy entrance. tormax.co.uk

MARMOX AMTICO

British flooring manufacturer Amtico’s enhanced safety flooring is now available to specify across the Designers’ Choice laying patterns from the flagship Signature collection. Available in 23 patterns and over 100 options, the additions merge Signature’s distinct style with enhanced slip resistance for hospitality, healthcare and commercial interiors. Embedded safety particles and an ionic silver antimicrobial additive ensure secure, hygienic flooring with a robust 1mm wear layer, backed by a 20-year commercial warranty. For added performance, an optional acoustic backing further reduces impact sound transmission, delivering a comprehensive solution for high-performance commercial spaces. amtico.com/commercial

The staged remodelling and refurbishment of a large residential property on the outskirts of Watford has used the full range Marmox board products, as the owners have sought to create a dream home that offers safety, warmth and high standards of acoustic insulation. Helping to shape the spaces within what was originally a mid-20th century building, main contractor M & M Team has used hundreds of square metres of Marmox Multiboard, Soundboard and the Class 1-rated, non-combustible Fireboard. All of the Marmox boards have been purchased through Marmox stockist Pro Tiler in Northampton. marmox.co.uk
