KEEPING UP WITH THE JONESES
Liebherr’s long-standing relationship with one of the country’s biggest timber processers is a prime example of manufacturer and customer working together for mutual benefit
James Jones & Sons Ltd operates from 25 locations in the UK, 11 in Australia and two in New Zealand. One of the largest and most productive of these locations is Stevens Croft in Lockerbie where Liebherr’s materials handlers have been a constant presence since the site was acquired in 1999.
The two organisations collaborate closely on machine development as Rob MacKenna, James Jones’ general manager for southern Scotland, explained.
