The gala evening was held at the historic building La Llotja de Mar, in a venue steeped in history since the 14th century, symbolising trade and innovation. The new Trend Collection was headlined “Designing Reality”.
A presentation was made by Nikolay
Bankov, chief executive officer of Kronospan Holding South, who gave inspiring insights into Kronospan’s achievements, new investments, and future strategies. He emphasised the importance of merging creativity with functionality in design. Following his presentation, the managing
director of Kronospan’s R&D department in Malta – Mark Bircham – took to the stage to discuss the creative vision behind the new Trend Collection, highlighting its aim to offer architects and interior designers the tools that reflect their clients’ lifestyles. Mr Bircham highlighted Kronospan’s
commitment to staying at the forefront of design trends and technological advancements in the decorative product industry.
He emphasised the importance of a
talented R&D team, strong partnerships with suppliers, and ongoing investment in machinery and innovative software to create realistic designs. The overarching theme of his presentation was the continuous enhancement of product offerings, demonstrating Kronospan’s responsiveness to market demands through development and collaborative efforts. One of the key segments of the event was focused on the concept of “Designing Reality,” the four themes of the collection: Pause, Blend, Connect, and Evolve, and each new decor family. Event attendees were able to explore an exposition hall with large-scale compositions and mood boards from the newly launched collection. The event’s second day began with morning presentations, where attendees learned about the latest products from Kronospan, Kaindl, SKIN, and FALCO. The line-up featured more than 15 presentations showcasing various products and collections, including the new décors in the Kronodesign Color, Harmony, Contempo, and Standard ranges, along with the Avant- garde and Worktops additions. The guests also learned about the new flooring solutions from Krono Original and Rocko and the latest products in the Kronospan portfolio – Black Line and Lightweight panels. As the presentations continued, speakers
provided insights into the diverse portfolio of all Kronospan brands catering to interior, exterior, and construction needs.
