North America’s largest trenchless technology conference - the No-Dig Show - takes place next Spring, over 30 March-3 April. 2025, and a packed programme is being prepared for presentation and working with old and new connections. The landmark show and conference organised by
the North American Society for Trenchless Technology (NASTT). Moving inland from the highly successful gathering
last time, held on the coast at Providence, RI, the next edition of NASTT’s No-Dig Show will see tunnellers meet far inland and higher, in mile-high Denver, CO. The setting is different but the focus is the same - the many underground opportunities and challenges at the smaller diameter scale of tunnelling. The trenchless sector continues to be booming as North America needs both new and upgraded assets for utilities. Key attendees to NASTT’s No-Dig Show are
municipalities, contractors, consulting engineers, gas/ electric utilities, and those involved with pipelines and energy, industrial facilities, and both damage prevention and safety issues. The programme is in final stages of detailed
development and is expected to be available from NASTT in January 2025, including daily schedule of events and the complete technical schedule.
TECHNICAL PROGRAMME While the detailed Technical programme is being finalised, it covers the following:
● Potable Water and Pressure Systems ● Wastewater, Stormwater and Non-Pressure Systems ● New Installations - Tunnelling, Boring and Pipe Ramming
● Energy Pipeline Systems ● Industry Issues ● Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD)
TRAINING At the start of the event, on March 30, half-day sessions are available on: ● Introduction to Trenchless Technology – New Installations
● Introduction to Trenchless Technology – Rehabilitation
After the main technical sessions of the conference, over March 31-April 2, there will then be a range of specialised training courses, each run as two half-day sessions, over April 2-3. They include:
● CIPP Good Practices ● HDD Good Practices ● New Installation Methods Good Practices ● Pipe Bursting Good Practices ● Municipal Sewer grouting Good Practices ● Sewer Laterals Good Practices ● Direct Steerable Pipe Thrusting Good Practices Early bird registration rates are available before March 1, 2025, and scholarships can be applied for.
