INTERNATIONAL Jensen-Group sets new milestone as 2024 orders drive record profit
The Jensen-Group has reported another record-breaking annual revenue for 2024, reaching €453.2 million, a 13% increase compared to 2023 as well as an order intake 46% higher than last year. This sustained success underscores the company’s commitment to providing robust and productive technology and to targeted capital investments over the past two years.
The group has strengthened its global manufacturing footprint by expanding
our production facilities worldwide. Since 2020, we have added a total of 30,000 sq.m. of manufacturing space, enabling us to successfully meet market demand. “Additionally,” said a spokesperson
for Jensen-Group, “we have intensified our focus on innovation, increasing investments in AI and robotics at Inwatec in Denmark, where an additional plant will be ready by 2026.
INTERNATIONAL Generational change in management at Kannegiesser
Engelbert Heinz has played a key role in shaping the development of Kannegiesser over the past 36 years, many of which he served as managing director. His commitment and expertise have decisively shaped the company and contributed to the current position and success of
Kannegiesser. As part of an orderly retirement succession Matthias Schopp has taken over the position of chief technology officer (CTO) from 5 May 2025 Heinz will continue to support Kannegiesser with his experience.
Schopp, born in Celle, Germany, has in-depth expertise in the development and production of innovative systems and machinery. After completing his mechanical engineering studies and earning a doctorate, he gained valuable leadership experience in executive management and business development. In addition to his professional expertise, he has the right instinct for the requirements of a medium-sized family business. Over the past few months, he has been able to familiarise himself with the company and the industry through intensive training and
close contact with various departments, employees, and customers.
Meanwhile, on 29 April, Mark Ledson officially assumed the role of managing director at Kannegiesser Southeast Asia, succeeding John Hacker, who has successfully led the organisation for many years. Hacker will continue to be associated with the company as a consultant and will actively support the handover process in the coming weeks to ensure a smooth transition.
Born in the UK, Ledson brings with him many years of international management experience and in-depth market knowledge of the Southeast Asian region. In his new role, he will drive forward the strategic development of the business in existing markets and tap into new potential in the region.
