JASO SEES GREATER DEMAND FOR AGVS

energy sector for handling windmill blades, and it has launched a range of battery powered trolleys on wheels for moving loads at ground level in the industrial sector. It is just over a year since the company

introduced its first autonomous trolleys. Since then, it has been working to incorporate new technological

ASO Industrial Cranes sees great potential for transfer carts, such as AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles), especially in the wind

components to make its battery powered trolleys on wheels. “Our carts are well built and modular.

They complement moving loads at ground level both indoors and outdoors. As manufacturers, we are able to adapt to the needs of our customers by offering a range of capacities and sizes with the possibility of configuring the type of guidance to the requirements of the manoeuvre and offering different movement settings such as: one steer axle, two steer axles and with bogies for free movement,” said Alvaro Arratibel, commercial department, JASO Industrial Cranes, Spain. The self-driving trolleys, which are

powered by a battery, can work with standard trolleys from 1t to 60t and can be customised for heavy industry, such as ladles, rail transfer carts and carts for moving large components for the wind energy and naval sectors with capacities of up to 500t.

Features include; electronically

controlled electric propulsion; AC electric motors; movement control; emergency buttons, and operating light and sound signals; easy access for maintenance and ECO mode, where the batteries recharge while braking. Premium components include; an LED control screen and LED lights; a customisable bed; fast charging; lithium and exchangeable batteries.●
