NATRIUM DEMONSTRATION
Bechtel is the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) partner for TerraPower, the development and deployment of the Natrium™ technology as part of a unique public-private Advanced Reactor Development Program (ARDP) with U.S. Department of Energy to design and build a demonstration plant for the Natrium™ sodium fast reactor.

PLANT VOGTLE, UNITS 3 & 4
Bechtel was selected to complete the construction and support commissioning of Vogtle Units III+ units built in the U.S. With Watts Bar 2 and Vogtle 3 & 4 commercial operations, Bechtel new nuclear power to the grid in the 21st century.

In 1957, Bechtel continued its nuclear power industry—which started with our support of the Experimental Breeder Reactor 1 in 1949—by working with partners to develop the Dresden Nuclear Station, the nuclear power plant.

Securing a Sustainable Future
POLAND AP1000®
Bechtel has been chosen to partner on the nuclear power plant, located at the Lubiatowo- Kopalino site in Pomerania. Alongside consortium members Westinghouse Electric Company and (Polish Nuclear Plants), Bechtel will deliver three state-of-the-art AP1000® reactors, marking a energy independence and sustainability.
2016 WATTS BAR
UNIT 2 Bechtel was the
primecontractor to the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and provided EPC services in the successful completion and return to service of the deferred Watts Bar Unit 2.
1986 PALO VERDE,
UNITS 1, 2 & 3 Bechtel was the architect/ engineer and constructor of Palo Verde in the Arizona desert, the largest nuclear plant in the U.S. at the time (recently eclipsed by Vogtle).
Bechtel was A/E on 71 nuclear plants and constructor of 44, including the most recent units at Vogtle.
