Luceco’s Platform at Brackley Medical Centre
Luceco has supplied wireless lighting controls to Brackley Medical Centre, a new state- of-the art facility located in West Northamptonshire. High Performance, low glare Platform enabled Platinum Downlights were installed in the single care bed wards. The new hospital, which is located on the top floor of building, has 16 intermediate care beds, all with en-suite facilities, and is the result of a partnership between Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust and Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Platform from Luceco is a simple wireless lighting control system with zoning, daylight dimming, presence and absence detection. The Platform switches were programmed with a with a ‘night- light’ scene for the intermediate care beds. The wireless kinetic switches offer up to four scenes (2 as standard), on/off, manual dim up and down.
Brackley Medical Centre and Community Hospital provides a GP surgery with 16 consulting and treatment rooms as well as a high-tech pharmacy with a state of the art automated robot picking system. The Centre also benefits from a state of the art wirelessly controlled, cost effective and energy efficient lighting solution – provided by Luceco’s Platform!
