Campus Students at Winthrop have access to many on-campus resources and services such as:
International Center: Provides comprehensive immigration advising, assistance in cultural adjustment, guidance on government processes such as securing a driver’s license and social security card, as well as global engagement programming for the campus community and surrounding area.
Academic Success Center: Provides one-on-one tutoring for students who need assistance in particular classes, including a variety of general education courses.
English as a second language tutor: Meets one-on-one with students for whom English is not their first language to assist them with their writing skills and basic understanding of class requirements.
Writing/Math Tutorial Centers: Assists in reviewing written assignments and offering help in math if needed.
Center for Career and Civic Engagement: Helps students find academic internships while studying, as well as, teaching resume-writing, interview skills and finding jobs after graduation.
West Center: Contributes an active site for recreation, wellness and academic pursuits.
Health & Counseling Services: Offers services to foster whole-person health through prevention, education, assessment, treatment and advocacy.
Post Office: Administers on-campus mailboxes for students who live on campus and coordinates all outgoing mail.
