Autumn-Winter 2025 Get ready for 2026


Nominations for the 2026 Carnegies have already closed and will be revealed on 3 November. Judges are already in the process of reading nominations and will be working hard to work out which books will make it on to the longlist, due to be announced mid-February - before the shortlist is published the following month. November’s nominations reveal coincides with the opening of registration for shadowing groups, along with the


release of this year’s free publicity packs. Shadowing is the perfect opportunity to get students engaged and talking about this year’s books – and who knows, your group could be amongst those attending next year’s ceremony.
