Last month saw the second online Marine Surveying International Fest delivered successfully, this time split into two separate days - one for Yacht and Small Craft Surveyors, the other for Commercial Ship Surveyors. I am most grateful to those presenters who gave their time to share their specialist knowledge on a wide range of topics with delegates. You can still take part by ‘catch up’, acquiring the videos made on both days. And I promise you the content really is first-class. The videos are available to purchase at low cost and will not be freely available elsewhere for some time. Details about how to do so are included in this bulletin.


One of the things members tell me they most value about the Institute is getting involved with our training events and networking opportunities. So, we have once again put together a first-class range of face to face and online events, conferences and training seminars for this year that I highly recommend to you. These events not only provide great learning opportunities and great value for money, but they also allow you to network with others who are doing similar work to you. And they are meticulously put together for your benefit. For now, we are focusing on Baltimore this month and Vancouver in early March. I hope to meet you at one event or another in 2020.
