Primary school Lacrosse is a safer version of the game with the emphasis on skills development. It’s non-contact and uses lightweight equipment to reduce the risk of injury.
SKILL DEVELOPMENT: Play should be continuous. Players can throw, catch or scoop the ball, keeping both hands on the stick. Referees should award a free throw for trapping, batting, kicking or touching the ball with their hands, also for over-guarding or playing one-handed.
FIELD DIMENSIONS: 50-60m x30-35m with a halfway line. Position goals centrally within a 3m radius goal semi-circle at each end.
