A truly dramatic garden plant producing spectacular tall flower spikes seemingly from nowhere in summer! Once it has established and flowered in the first year, it will self-seed prolifically and, unless we have a really harsh winter, you will never have to plant another as you will always have plenty of seedlings! It will grow to around 1m in the first year, then in the second, it produces a magnificent flower – in milder areas the plants can keep growing all year around and, after a frost-free winter, you will see enormous flower spikes. Expect flowering in July or later. 1.5m April-August

✔ Exceptional biennial shrub, bringing a dramatic splash of colour to any summer garden ✔ Summertime flowers are real treats that need to be seen to be believed! Outstanding indigo-coloured floral spikes
