Matthew Taboni

KEEPS HIMSELF BUSY—really busy. So far at UB, he’s held leadership positions with the Student Association, Leadership House, Residence Hall Association, Experiential Learning Network and Student Engagement office. And he’s showing no signs of slowing down.

“Ambition means not just thinking big, but working hard to get there. UB plays a big role in this by offering so many things to help students pursue their interests,” says Matthew, who places a passion for helping others at the top of his list.

Whether he’s organizing an alternative spring break service trip, raising mental health awareness on campus or co-chairing UB’s virtual food pantry service, Matthew’s commitment runs deep: “Doing something you’re passionate about pushes you to work harder and put your all into it.”
