Events Calendar
During one of this past Summer’s cruse in company events a boat sank in less than couple of minutes. Te persons aboard were quickly removed from the water and reported unhurt. According to folks on-scene the boat was under power, near shore in con- ditions were calm with little wind. As we never know when an accident will occur I encourage you to review your boating safety plan including having a ready and accessible ditch bag.
Here at SCA work hard to keep up-to-date on the many small boat events, but we don’t know them all! Please, if you know of or coordinate a boating event that has a component geared towards small boats please contact Dave Scobie,
wdscobie@yahoo.com, or Small Craſt Advisor, smallcraſ
tadvisor@earthlink.net, with the details.
Tis calendar goes to press many months before scheduled events, so please check an event’s website or contact the coordinator directly for the latest updates.
